Code of Conduct

TRAVEL FEDERATION CODE OF MEMBER CONDUCT

We have drew up a list of standards for travel related websites to assist user of members of Travel Federation. All websites Travel Federation members operate should not mislead the user, instead only use honest and accurate information that will assist in the online booking of travel arrangements. We welcome applications from travel affiliate sites as well as travel directories as these sites play a very important role in the booking of travel on the internet.

Travel Federations Standards serve as a useful guide that clearly specifies the legal requirements for websites. All rules laid out by EC Directive Regulations 2002 do not apply to all members. If you do not take online bookings part 2 of this does not apply to these sites. Part 3 is for those sites that market customers via newsletters and emails. Travel Federation is here to help your Travel Website to succeed in your chosen field of travel, from car hire and hotels through to flights and vacations / holidays.

When your site operates as an affiliate the Travel Arrangements booked through third party websites from your site is your responsibility to ensure that the site that your user is sent to is of good quality and a reputable company.
